The responsibility of this committee is to provide financial information to the Board a week before each meeting, to review checks and balances and assure financial controls, and to meet annually to review our portfolio io with the appropriate managers.

The role of Governance is to oversee and manage the roles and responsibilities of an effective and informed Board of Directors, assure compliance with all entities, oversee the development of policies and procedures, enhance team building, and conduct an annual review on a one-to-one basis with all members.

By working with Board Program Committees, the Communication / Marketing Committee will ensure that all aspects of our community are aware of the efforts of LH&WR, Inc. to enhance well-being in the town of Litchfield. This will be accomplished by implementation of comprehensive marketing plans that will publicize our programs, educational opportunities, and sponsored events.
