As the Litchfield, East Litchfield, Northfield, Bantam and Milton communities continue to navigate the health crisis surrounding COVID-19, I couldn’t think of a better time to welcome the enhanced Litchfield Health and Wellness Resources, Inc. to our town. While continuing their important mission to provide home health care for those in need, their new and responsive initiatives will enable all Litchfield residents to have greater access to everyday health-conscious activities and services to ensure their best quality of life.

As an Adult Day Care owner it is a daunting task to find funds for members in need. Adult Day services are essentially important for the member and their caregivers to lead their everyday lives. Not all clients are eligible for state funding and are unable to fund for services themselves. It is wonderful to have support as Litchfield Health and Wellness Resources. With the help of Litchfield Health and Wellness Resources we were able to support members at our center preventing early nursing home placement and helped slow progression of their illness as well as depression of being homebound. Members of our community and I are very lucky to have LHWR to help us care for the ones we love.
